Indonesia began cutting pipeline gas exports to Singapore on October 24, 2026, redirecting 31 million cubic feet per day—15 million from Natuna and 16 million from Sumatra—to meet domestic electricity needs. Singapore says the cut is less than 2% of its daily gas demand and insists signed contracts be honoured; the reduction’s duration and any arrangement addressing it remain open.
