- Repeated heavy rain in Broward County has brought disruption beyond flooded streets and stranded cars: CBS Miami reports that horses from local ranches were evacuated to higher ground. That adds an animal-care dimension to the flooding account, but an important gap remains. Although separate CBS coverage documents flooding on November 3 and 4, 2026, the horse evacuation’s date has not been established, so it cannot yet be tied to those days.
