A man was taken to hospital after four masked men beat him with iron bars and shot him in the leg inside a Dervock home; three other occupants were uninjured but badly shaken. The attackers escaped in a Toyota Yaris later found burnt out on Burnquarter Road. The report does not say whether the attackers have been identified or arrested, or whether charges have been brought, as of 28 October 2026.

    Quatre intrus masqués ont attaqué un homme dans une maison de Dervock, laissant les trois autres occupants très choqués. La police a établi un lien entre leur fuite et une Toyota Yaris retrouvée plus tard entièrement calcinée.
