סכסוכים · Kstovo drone attackKstovo refinery drone attack: Governor says industrial facility suffered significant damageנכתב 2 בנובמבר 2026 בשעה 05:12 UTCצפייהתמליל0:07Drones damaged an industrial facility in Stovo.0:10The regional governor warns that repairs could interrupt electricity, hot water, and0:13heating for residents.0:15Authorities are also taking steps to keep petrol stations supplied.0:18How much damage reached the refinery and what that means for essential services?0:21Is still unclear.0:22Stovo lies east of Moscow in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region.0:26The governor placed the damaged enterprise in Stovo district.0:29That's the location he identified.0:31While accounts naming an oil refinery point to a specific industrial site within0:34that area.0:35The attack ran overnight from October30, one into November1 ,2026 , with drone0:41activity continuing into the morning.0:42Governor Gleb Nikedin said more than one hundred drones were destroyed across the0:46region.0:47His figure counts claimed interceptions across that area.0:50It doesn't tell us how many drones hit the enterprise.0:52Nikatin described the industrial enterprise as having suffered significant damage.0:57He didn't name it.0:58He also said officials were still assessing damage to civilian infrastructure and1:01property, putting the consequences beyond the factory itself into the regional1:05response.1:06The initial assessment of injuries was preliminary.1:08Nikitin first said no casualties had been reported, but a later account described a1:13woman hurt by falling drone debris.1:15That changes how the early reassurance should be understood.1:17The woman was reportedly treated and released, and her injuries weren't1:20life-threatening.1:21The timing of that later update hasn't been confirmed.1:24The early statement that nobody had been hurt therefore can't serve as a final1:27casualty count.1:28The refinery identification comes with a separate set of claims.1:31Local accounts and monitoring channels described a strike and fire at Lukoil's1:35Kopstovo refinery.1:36The plant is also known as Norsi.1:38Those claims go further than the governor's description of an unnamed enterprise.1:42Firepoint, a Ukrainian defense company, publicly claimed confirmation of a strike on1:47the refinery.1:47That adds a Ukrainian company to those identifying the target.1:50The claim still leaves the condition of the refinery's equipment and its current1:54operations unresolved.1:55Videos circulated as showing the refinery in flames, but their location and1:59recording time haven't been confirmed.2:01A nighttime fire in an industrial area can't by itself identify a processing unit.2:05The imagery doesn't tell us whether the refinery's main operations stopped.2:08The Stovo refinery processes roughly fifteen to seventeen million metric tons of2:12crude oil annually.2:14That scale explains the attention on its possible involvement.2:16Any sustained interruption at an enterprise that size would make its operating2:20condition an important fuel.2:21Supply question: Annual throughput doesn't measure the fuel lost in this attack.2:25Calculating that would require knowing which equipment was damaged and how2:28production changed.2:29There isn't an operating assessment that answers those questions yet, so a2:33production loss estimate would be premature.2:35Russian investigators opened a terrorism case over the attack on industrial and2:39civilian infrastructure.2:40They attribute the attack to Ukrainian forces.2:42Terrorism is the Russian authorities' legal characterization, and the investigation2:46hasn't produced a court finding identifying who launched the drones.2:50Regional authorities said they were taking measures to maintain fuel availability at2:53petrol stations.2:54There were also accounts of queues.2:55Quiz alone don't show that stations have run out of fuel, and the authorities2:59haven't given a quantity of supply lost because of this attack.3:02Nikitin warned that repairs could temporarily cut electricity and reduce hot water3:06and heating service in parts of the residential networks.3:09For people living nearby, the immediate concern is whether repair work interrupts3:13the services their homes depend on.3:14Officials haven't said whether those warned of disruptions have happened or how long3:18residents might face them.3:20The industrial damage has been acknowledged.3:22While the effect on refinery production and household services is still unclear.קריאת הכתבהציר הזמן של הסיפורHeyDexמי דיווח על מהנקודות שדיווח עליהן יותר מכלי תקשורת אחד✓Damage to an industrial facilityאושר באופן עצמאי · 3 כלי תקשורת✓Reports of a refinery being
