The Cape Palliser pilot whale stranding

現状

About 50 pilot whales stranded overnight on the rocky Ngāwi coast near Cape Palliser. All four found alive, including two returned to the water at high tide, have since died, and the rescue ended without any known survivors. The stranding response’s status beyond this is not reported as of 5 November 2026.

ンガーウィで生きた状態で見つかったクジラ4頭すべてが死亡、救助活動及ばず
救助隊はゴンドウクジラ2頭を海に戻したが、2頭とも生き延びなかった。ニュージーランドの岩場の海岸では約50頭が座礁したと推定されているが、正確な被害数と原因は不明のままだ。
