A Reset.Tech investigation found a Sri Lanka-linked network of more than 200 Facebook pages making AI deepfakes of Australian politicians, within a broader 1,800-page operation reaching nearly six million users. Facebook creator payments monetized about one in ten pages; Meta said it was reviewing them but had not confirmed removals.
