The MT Velos Sapphire explosion

Co wiedzieliśmy na początku

• Velos Tankers reports one seafarer dead, the remaining crew uninjured and the fire extinguished. The tanker is in Bahrain for a hull-damage assessment.

Wtedy jeszcze otwarte

• The cause, any responsibility for an attack, the extent of hull damage and the vessel’s readiness to resume its voyage remain unestablished.

Na co mieliśmy zwracać uwagę

• A vessel-specific official incident account or a completed damage assessment would help separate the suspected cause from the ship’s actual condition.
