WOAI identified the bar as Weritas Cantina along the Nogalitos Street corridor and reported that the wounded man was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center in stable condition. KSAT described his injuries as not life-threatening, while KENS also reported stable condition. Those accounts describe his condition after the shooting; they are not a later hospital update or confirmation that he has been discharged.⁠2⁠1⁠12

The local reports agree on the central sequence: the man was shot inside the bar just before 1 a.m., the shooter ran away, and officers subsequently detained someone a few blocks from the business. KSAT, citing San Antonio police, reported that a person of interest was taken into custody a few blocks away. WOAI added that officers detained the person without incident, but described their possible connection to the shooting tentatively. The location is clearer at the corridor level than at the premises level. WOAI names Weritas Cantina near Nogalitos Street and Keats Avenue. KSAT describes an unnamed bar on Nogalitos near South Zarzamora Street. KENS places the incident in the 3800 block of Nogalitos near Vermont Street. All point to the Nogalitos corridor, but a precise numbered address has not been confirmed.⁠2⁠1⁠12

These gaps do not undo the shared account of a man wounded inside a bar. They do limit how precisely the incident can be described—and leave the most important investigative question unanswered: whether police can connect the person detained nearby to the shooting.
