The Wild River Fire

Where it stands

By 7 p.m. Monday, November 2, firefighters had contained 11% of the Wild River Fire, after it had burned about 300 acres. A tracking entry Tuesday morning listed 288 acres and the same containment, but the latest official acreage could not be independently established; the fire is not reported as fully contained.

Watching for: The scheduled November 5 public meeting, with updated acreage, containment, suppression progress, closure guidance and investigation information.
