Update 1 of 1LatestDay 1
One driver killed as tractor-trailer hits stopped box truck on I-95 in Georgetown
Police say the tractor-trailer rear-ended a box truck in the northbound breakdown lane. The cause, the driver's identity and current lane conditions remain unverified.
What we knew first
- The tractor-trailer driver died after a preliminary police account places the truck striking a box truck stopped in the breakdown lane.
Still open then
- The cause, the deceased driver's identity, the box-truck driver's condition and the current lane status remain unverified.
We said we'd watch for
- A police identification, a reconstruction update and a confirmed traffic-status notice would resolve distinct parts of the unfinished account.
