What we knew first
- DW reports a drinks-and-petting encounter involving four alpacas and an owner who describes an educational aim.
Still open then
- Whether the alpacas can withdraw from visitors, how contact and rest are managed, what outdoor space they use and what veterinary supervision they receive remain unverified.
We said we'd watch for
- Look for documented care arrangements and a site-specific welfare assessment, alongside evidence of what children actually learn.
