A 37-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing early Oct. 29 on the Manuel Campos Parkway on-ramp to westbound I-80 in Fairfield; responders’ efforts to save him were unsuccessful, and he was pronounced dead at 4:36 a.m. The crash investigation and any final determination of its cause remain open.
