Welt · Schifffahrt in der Straße von HormusTanker fährt nach Explosion an der Wasserlinie nahe Oman weiter; Besatzung in SicherheitVerfasst 6. November 2026 um 19:44 UTCAnsehenTranskript0:07An explosion hit a tanker's water line, and the ship kept moving.0:11The master said everyone aboard was safe and accounted for as the vessel headed out0:16through the Strait of Hormuz.0:18What caused the explosion, and what condition is the tanker in now?0:22The tanker was sixteen nautical miles east of Kasab, Oman, during its outward0:28passage.0:29That's the reported distance from the coastal city.0:31The location puts the explosion along the ship's exit from the strait near Oman's0:37coast.0:37The master placed the explosion on the port side, meaning the ship's left side,0:42where the hull meets the water.0:44That gives a specific location aboard the tanker.0:47The description alone doesn't tell us what caused the blast.0:50Everyone aboard was accounted for, and the tanker could still propel itself.0:55The master said it continued its voyage under its own power.0:59Those are the immediate human and operational outcomes of this incident.1:03A ship can keep sailing while its damage is still being assessed.1:07Continued propulsion tells us the tanker retained that capability.1:12It doesn't settle the condition of the hull or the rest of the vessel.1:16The explosion happened on November5 at10 p.1:19m.1:19UTC.1:21It became public on November6,1:23keeping those dates separate places.1:26This incident on the previous evening, rather than treating the day it became public1:30as the day it happened.1:32The master reported the incident after a delay, so the statements about the crew and1:37the ship describe their condition at that point in the voyage.1:42They don't provide a continuous picture of what happened aboard afterward.1:46On October thirtieth, we reported that a tanker had resumed sailing after an engine1:51room fire was extinguished.1:53On October thirty-first, we reported a projectile strike with no crew injuries or1:58environmental impact.2:00Reported then, those earlier events were dated October twenty-ninth.2:04Nobody has identified the latest tanker or linked it to those earlier events.2:08The new crew safety statement applies to the November5 incident.2:12It leaves the earlier ship's unanswered questions open, and the different accounts2:17can't be added together as a verified count of vessels, a vessel identification, and2:22a follow-up assessment from its operator or maritime authorities would clarify what2:27happened aboard.2:28Nobody has confirmed its arrival.2:30The cause of the explosion and the extent of any damage are still unknown.Artikel lesenChronologie der GeschichteHeyDex
