At least 11 people were injured when a farmworker work bus and semitruck collided on Highway 24 west of Othello on Oct. 22; no deaths had been reported by about 8 a.m., and patients’ conditions were unknown. The highway was closed in both directions at Road 24 Southwest, with no reopening time announced; the crash response and investigation remain unresolved.
