New Jersey Non-Citizen Voter Registration Glitch

A software glitch at New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle Commission registered about 6,600 non-citizens on voter rolls over a year, and fewer than 400 cast ballots. The report says the glitch went undetected by the vendor and previous administration until recently; the DOJ is investigating, and the investigation and any resulting corrective or enforcement process remain unresolved.
