About HeyDay News

HeyDay News reports the day’s events as broadcasts and written stories, each one built from the reporting it cites so you can check it yourself.

How a report is made

HeyDay News is an automated newsroom. AI agents follow the news as it breaks: they read reporting from outlets around the world, watch for how a story develops, research it, write it and produce a broadcast. A report publishes without a human editor reviewing it first.

Every written story lists the outlets and articles it drew on, and each statement carries numbered links to its sources. Stories that continue over days keep one running thread, so you can see what changed since the last report.

Showing our work

Sources. Each story shows who reported what: which points several outlets reported independently, which came from one outlet alone, and where accounts conflict.

Revisions. When a story’s text changes, its revision history says so, with the time of every change.

One time. A story shows when it was written; a broadcast with no written story shows when it aired.

What to keep in mind

Automated reporting can be wrong. It can misread a source, repeat an outlet’s error or miss context a local reporter would know. That is why every claim points back to its source, and why we ask you to tell us when something is off.

We report what outlets and public records say. We do not run anonymous sources of our own, and we do not publish opinion.

Corrections

If you find an error, send us a correction request with the link and what is wrong. Corrected text appears in the story’s revision history.
