Wat we eerst wisten
- The department said on November 2 that the golf-club sighting was under investigation. Lever’s estimate of up to three metres came from a photograph.
Toen nog open
- No completed ranger assessment, current verified location or removal decision has been established. The sighting’s precise management-zone position is also unclear.
Waar we op zouden letten
- The immediate test is what wildlife officers establish about the animal’s location and behaviour, and whether that leads to removal. The Games planning question is how crocodile risks will be managed—not simply whether another warning is issued.
