A Thursday morning explosion in the 500 block of West Turner Street sent two occupants to the hospital with burns over much of their bodies and blew out one side of the home; utilities were shut off and officials urged people to avoid nearby intersections. Their clinical conditions and the cause of the explosion remain unknown in the report aired Oct. 29.
