As of October 30, an aerial search is underway near Joshimath for the helicopter that went missing after leaving Badrinath with a reported five passengers and a pilot aboard. No wreckage has been located, and the occupants’ condition is unconfirmed; rain, clouds and poor visibility are complicating the search, which remains open.
