Hurricane Josephine's extratropical transition
In EntwicklungNächste Prüfung am : Check the Friday-evening Laurentian Fan forecast against later marine analysis, establish whether hurricane-force winds developed, and update coastal flooding and surf impacts.
Stand der Dinge
Josephine became a post-tropical cyclone offshore on October 22, while coastal flooding was affecting parts of the U.S. Mid-Atlantic. As of the October 23 report, further strengthening to hurricane-force winds remained forecast, and large swells with life-threatening surf and rip-current conditions were affecting or likely along parts of the eastern seaboard and Atlantic Canada; weakening and dissipation remain ahead.

Update 1
