  1. Gunfire critically injured a man outside a pool hall. Police say a passenger fired from an SUV, then escaped. Their early assessment suggests the wounded man may not have been the intended target. Who fired, and what led to the shooting, are still unresolved.
  2. Officers found the man in a strip-mall parking lot in Lakewood, Washington. The pool hall is in the 8700 block of South Tacoma Way, several blocks west of Wards Lake Park. Police were dispatched around one forty Friday morning, November sixth.
