- A barn fire in Woodbine destroyed the building and sent a firefighter to the hospital.
- Firefighters from four counties responded, and part of the structure collapsed. The fire is out, but the firefighter's condition and what started the blaze are still unresolved.
- Howard County crews received help from Montgomery, Carroll and Frederick counties. The fire happened Monday, November second, in the sixteen-thousand block of Ed Warfield Road in Woodbine, Maryland. The road was also identified as Warfield Road.
- Flames had engulfed the barn when firefighters arrived around seven Monday morning. They'd been called shortly before seven. Part of the building collapsed during the fire, and the barn was ultimately destroyed.
- Firefighters brought the blaze under control in about fifty minutes, around eight that morning. Fully extinguishing it took about two hours. Crews stayed for an extended period after gaining control to finish putting the fire out.
- The fire was extinguished Monday morning. The earlier description of roughly an hour to gain control was a rounded version of the same response.
- One firefighter was taken to a hospital for treatment and remained at a medical facility Monday afternoon. By Tuesday, officials hadn't provided a further medical update. The firefighter's current condition and recovery are still unknown.
